Atlanta-Based Entrepreneur Served as Chairperson of the Event June 13-15, 2018
(June 18, 2018) ATLANTA, GA— Steven Gold, President and Co-Founder of Allied Financial Corporation, continues his long standing commitment to the Commercial Finance Association (CFA) as the Chairperson of the Chapter Leaders Committee. Most recently, Gold led the Chapter Leaders at the annual retreat held in Boston, Massachusetts, June 13-15, 2018. This exclusive gathering of CFA chapter leaders from across the country and Europe was focused on discussing forward thinking ways for the chapters to work even more closely with the national association. Close to 30 chapter leaders were in attendance, which accounted for approximately 80% representation from all chapters.
Gold was integral in developing the agenda for the Chapter Leaders Retreat this year. “As Chairperson, I’m honored to have the opportunity to help facilitate a discussion about the coming changes and how to help other leaders in the financial community,” Gold said.
The CFA supports a community of educational growth, networking and advocacy, so also on the agenda at this year’s Chapter Leader Retreat: mentoring, specifically of individuals in YoPro! and Women in Commercial Finance groups. “It’s crucial that the leaders in the commercial finance community help guide our newer members on career growth and strategy,” Gold added.
